Biferno Bianco is a white wine, which is often compared to Trebbiano d’Abruzzo from its neighbor to the north, and that's not entirely off base.
This is a light and dry white wine made from Trebbiano Toscano (60-70%), with permission to add local green grapes (30-40%) and Malvasia Bianca (0-10%).
The color is a more or less intense straw yellow with green reflections. The aroma is delicate, pleasant and slightly aromatic. An excellent wine when paired with the region's many fish dishes, but can also be enjoyed with the entire meal.
That Italy in 2011 was the worlds largest wine producer?
