Biferno Rosato is produced from the same grapes as Biferno Rosso, and can be a quite attractive and fresh wine. The grape composition is Montepulciano (70-80%) and Aglianico (15-20%), with permission to add local, non-aromatic red grapes (0-15%).
The aroma is fruity and delicate, the taste dry, fresh, even and with a good portion of fruit. The color is a more or less intense pink.
