The red wine, Terre dell’Alta Val d’Agri Rosso DOC, is produced from the classic grapes Merlot (minimum 50%) and Cabernet Sauvignon (minimum 30%), with the permitted addition of up to 20% other local, non-aromatic red grapes.
The color of the wine is ruby red, which turns to garnet red with age, and the scent is inviting and fruity, with a harmonious and rounded taste, characteristic of the grapes.
Mandatory aging is 1 year beginning November 1st following the harvest. 12.5% is the minimum alcohol content.
