This rosé wine is made from the same grape composition as the Terre dell’Alta Val d’Agri Rosso DOC, with slightly different grape proportions: Merlot grapes (minimum 50%) and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes (minimum 20%), with the minimum 20% addition of Malvasia di Basilicata grapes, as well as other aromatic/non-aromatic red or white grapes.
Terre dell’Alta Val d’Agri Rosato is rose to pink colored, it has a distinctive and appealing bouquet, as well as a characteristic flavor. The wine must have at least 11.5% alcohol content.
Released for sale on March 1st of the year following the harvest.
Goes well with soups and grilled fish.
