Alcamo Rosato Spumante is made from the same grapes as Alcamo Rosato, so Nerello Mascalese, Calabrese, Nero d’Avola, Sangiovese, Frappato, Perricone, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Syrah.
The grapes are vinified either with or without skins and give, as mentioned, a pink-colored wine of varying intensity. The aroma is subtle and fruity, while the taste is fresh, balanced and either very dry or semi-dry. In both cases a very fresh affair.
The pressure in the bottle comes from either natural fermentation, Metodo Classico, or with the aid of a pressure tank, Metodo Martinotti.
Served either as an aperitif or with food.
