Everything points to the fact that Bolgheri Bianco is about to reach a certain level of class. The wine is made from Trebbiano (10-70%), the very interesting Vermentino (10-70%), together with a few other local, white varieties, most often Sauvignon. Alongside Bolgheri Rosato, this was the first DOC in this area.

Bolgheri Vermentino is a straw yellow white wine with a delicate and characteristic, slightly aromatic aroma. As is typical for the Vermentino grape (85-100%), which is originally from Sardegna, the taste is harmonious, smooth and well-balanced. 10% of other local, green grapes may also be added.
