Vinification

The term "vinification" refers to the process of making wine, from the date of harvesting the grapes until the wine is bottled. The process is very comprehensive and is very different from type to type (red or white rosato/rosé wine). Vinification includes the following elements: alcoholic fermentation, malolactic fermentation, composition, decanting, preservation, filtration and bottling. Often, wineries use oenologist  to this part to give the wine a more personal touch.
