Considered by many experts to be the finest of Calabria's mountain reds, Savuto DOC is produced using a formidable number of grape varieties. These are Gaglioppo (35-45%), Greco Nero and/or Nerello Capuccio, Magliocco Canino, Sangiovese (30-40% with max 10% Sangiovese), Malvasia Bianca and Pecorino (max. 25%).
