Collio Goriziano Picolit DOC is a more or less intense straw-yellow white wine, exclusively made from Picolit grapes (100%). Although the Picolit grape provides better results in the neighboring zone up north, where there is the elegant Friuli Colli Orientali Picolit DOCG, this white from Goriziano can show great class.
While the scent is delicate, subtle and pleasant, the taste, varying from sweetish to sweet, is harmonious, warm, balanced and inviting.
Enjoyed with dessert.
A barrel-aged Collio Goriziano Picolit Riserva DOC is also available, with a period of aging of no less than 2 years.
