Pomino Merlot DOC is a varietal wine with Merlot as the main grape (85-100%). Up to 15% of other local, red grapes may also be added.

Merlot creates a light, ruby red wine with more or less intense garnet reflections. The bouquet is vinous, intense and characteristic for the grape. The taste is dry, harmonious, robust and slightly tannic, when the wine is young.

This red wine is released for sale after November 1 of the year after the harvest.

Goes well with most everything on the menu.
