The red wine Vittoria Rosso DOC is produced from the grape Nero d’Avola (also called Calabrese) (minimum 50-70%), together with Frappato (30-50%).
The color spans from ruby red to cherry, and the aroma varies from the flowery, where there is sometimes a hint of dried fruit. The taste is dry, warm, ample and soft.
The minimum alcohol concentration is 12% and the wine can first be made available for sale after March 30 after the harvest year.
