A substantial red with a lot of class. From the grapes Gagliopppo (0-60%), Nerello Capuccio along with other authorised varieties.
Scavigna Rosso's colour is more or less ruby red and invites with an equally intense, elegant bouquet and a balanced, robust palate. Contains minimum 11.5% alcohol.
The area around Nocera Tirenese, within the larger Savuto area, has, in particular, shown potential to produce wines of exceptionally high quality.
Can be paired with most dishes.
Scavigna Rosato, with the same grape combination, can also be found.
